Influenster's Blossom VoxBox

Hey guys, I wanted to do a review on all of these goodies I received in my BlossomVoxBox, complimentary from Influenster. It's been a long time since I received a really good Voxbox like this, so let's get into it...

                                                    Bear Naked Granola

The very first thing I tried was the Bear Naked Sea Salt Caramel Apple and Coconut Almond Curry Granola. This was my favorite out of the two. It had a salty sweet crunchy taste to it. They were so good I actually went out and bought my own bag.

The thing I liked most about them was the tiny pieces of caramel in it. It only has  about 7 grams of sugar, 3 grams of fiber, and 4 grams of protein. I usually add this to my yogurt as a snack between meals.
Australian Gold Sunscreen
The first thing I noticed was how non-sticky it was. It also has a very lite texture that goes on just like lotion with a strong coconut like scent. It did not burn my skin like some sunscreens tend to do. It appeared as though it moisturizes pretty good without leaving  a white residue. I will probably be buying this soon.

NYCityProof 24 HR Waterproof Eye Shadow
I received this in "Brooklyn Mocha". I like the design in that you have to twist the black part at the bottom to use it, kind of like a tube of lipstick.
These eye shadows, according to the NYC Website claim:

"Incredible staying power inspired by the city that never sleeps!
Want round the clock color that never fades or creases? This chubby, waterproof eye shadow delivers vibrant color for up to 24HR wear! In eleven on trend shades perfect for any look, just twist, glide and go"
  • 24HR wear
  • Waterproof
  • Crease-proof
  • Homogeneous application
  • Gives intense color pay-off
  • Vibrant color
  • Quick & easy to use
  • Glides easily
  • Smooth application
  • Smear-proof & Tear-proof
It easily glides on the skin and has a creamy texture. I noticed how shimmery the eye shadow appeared to be, but quickly discovered it needed more than one swipe to intensify the color. Which is good for me since I really do not care for glittery eye shadow, rather subtle.

I applied this in the morning before I headed to work. At the end of the day, I noticed the color had faded a little but not so much that you could not see it there. I would probably buy another one of these, especially since they are pretty affordable and hold up pretty well for the price.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion
I got this in Medium and did not really expect it to do what it actually did. It wasn't stick but did have a slight odor almost like liquid foundation. After being rubbed in, it did not rub off like the product said. It provides lite coverage for things such as tats. If you have minor blemishes, this should do the trick.

I tried the Sea Salt and Chipotle BBQ. I like the Chipotle BBQ better because it has a little sweetness and kick to it. I ate them with my tuna or chicken salad as a snack. I'm reading the comments and notice many people are saying that there are a lot of broken pieces in the bag. When I opened my bag, most of them were whole with a few broken pieces at the bottom of the bag (no big deal to me). It really reminds you of eating pringles, only beanitos appears to be healthier. The whole bag contains 7 grams of protein, healthy carbohydrates, fiber, and protein from the black beans. I just wish they had a little more BBQ flavor to it. Other than that, I would recommend these to anyone as a healthy snack between meals.

Clairol's Hair Food Strawberry Ginger Root Clarifying Shampoo
Let me first say, I absolutely hate the pump. I kept twisting both ways until I saw it pop up but nothing happened. After doing some research, I noticed there are many people having the same problem. It was so bad, I had to take a knife and cut around it so that I could pull the handle up and even that did not look right afterwards... Finally, I said forget it and threw the top away.  Right off the top, I noticed how thick the shampoo was from looking at the bottle. This has a very sweet essence of strawberry with a hint of ginger. I like sweet smelling shampoos so this was a plus for me. I’ve been using this for a month now and have noticed that this is not a shampoo you would use more than once a week. Doing so will risk drying your hair out. This is a “Deep” cleansing formula that is designed to cleanse and rid the hair and scalp of any build-up, so once a week should do you justice. I have chemically treated hair and will say that while it does cleanse well, you will still need to use a detangler. When it’s all said and done, it leaves your hair feeling clean and sweet smelling. I wonder how the conditioner would work with this...

I've never heard of this brand before, which made me even more excited about getting this as a sample. When you buy them, you will notice that they're packed ready to eat. There is no need to cook these, at all.

On the back of the package it gives you preparation tips such as:
- Drain and rinse the noodles before use to eliminate the mild fishy smell it emits from the Konjac flour in the noodles.

- To either rinse noodles with warm water, warm them in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or pan-fry in dry skillet for 1-2 minutes.
I used these noodles as a TSO Chicken dinner entree.

I also bought myself a bag and made a chicken tetrazzini...

I warmed my noodles in a dry skillet, which I don't recommend. If kept in skillet for too long, it will make the noodles a little tough. I suggest the microwave method instead.

There are 2 serving to a bag, but I was hungry and ate the whole thing, hehe.. Don't judge me,lol

What I like most about these noodles is the the fact that they are low in carbohydrates, low in calories, and are already precooked. They're really convenient and is quite easy to include them in any little recipe.
